There's a Universal amusement park in Osaka.

CEREZO OSAKA
Cerezo Osaka is a soccer/football club in Osaka.

In all honesty, Suna probably wouldn't be a fan of them if he's a soccer fan at all because he isn't from Kansai (presumably, unless he's legit just pretentiously forcing himself to have a Tokyo accent... holy shit am I on to something here?).

HATTORI NUTRITION COLLEGE
One of the top culinary schools in Japan.

Kyudo is a traditional Japanese martial art.

Sakusa has a range at his shrine complex.

KOINOBORI
The famous carp streamers. They're associated with Children's Day which happens in early May.

Children's Day used to be Boy's Day. I used the term Children's Day, but again don't assume anything about the time period based on that.

FOX WEDDING
There are many cultural meanings behind Kitsune no Yomeiri.

But this mention refers to a festival procession dedicated to Inari and a successful harvest. This fic has no established time period, but most of these festivals are from the last 70 years.

RAIJIN
I opted to make the Itachiyama shrine dedicated to Raijin, the god of storms. Why? Okay.
So there's this yokai called the Kamaitachi, a weasel beast that rides the wind and has sickle like claws.
In that one yokai Haikyuu art work, Sakusa is depicted as a kamaitachi.
So here he maintains a shrine to the storm god.

LEGEND
The story goes if you touch this bronze plaque beneath the statue of St. John of Nepomuk, you'll return to Prague someday.

However, if you touch the bronze cross embedded in the masonry further down the bridge (the place where St. John was martyred), your wish will come true in a year and a day.

OVERWATCH
Gamer Sakusa rights! In the phone call scene, Sakusa is yelling Reinhardt's name.

Repeating a character's name is used in comms to tell your team to focus on killing that specific character.

English speakers would comm "REIN REIN REIN REIN" but "HARDT HARDT HARDT" is used by Japanese players.

Osamu's nightmare depicts his ex-girlfriend as a Kuchisake-Onna, a yokai with a Chelsea smile. She'll ask you if you think she's beautiful and depending on your answer you're very likely to have a gruesome end.

BOKUTO'S HOUSE
I'd be lying if I said I didn't spend several hours in google street view trying to find a cute house for Bokuto.
I took some obvious liberties (I wouldn't call this a traditional Japanese house lol...) but the property itself is perfect.

PENNY
A real game I used to play in college though we called it Quarters.

The drinking song we'd sing every time someone got Quartered is incredibly NSFW but inevitably goes through my head every time I'm drinking anything.

YUMEKO
Main character from the gambling show Kakegurui. She's a compulsive gambler and obviously quite good at it. I've never actually seen the show so maybe she has a shit poker face. But I feel like she's gotta at least have SOMETHING.

APARTMENT
Yes, I spent several hours looking at apartment ads for an apartment that is barely mentioned.
